One in every Bunch Quilt, Fair, Chicken Stroller and Sweetie Pie

I really need a new camera!!  This is a quilt top that I'm working on.  I thought I had it almost completed but I think I need a couple of more rows at the bottom for length.  This quilt is called "There's one in every bunch" and as you can see I added white around one block and decided to put it in the quilt.  The white was what I originally was going to use but then I deceided to go wild with Kona Tangerine!!

Part of our quilt group set up at the county fair and these two ladies are hand piecing a old old quilt.  Carol in the blue hopes to have it done in a couple of more years at the fair.  She only works on it at the fair and had decided to name it "The Fair Quilt"  There are some fabrics that date back to the 1800's.  Joyce in the light floral top does amazing quilts with tiny and I mean tiny scraps.

Carol is setting up her 1923 Singer so that we can let children make a pillow.  We had a lot of fun with the kids and sometimes we had all three sewing machines going.  The little kids were so proud of their pillows!!  We'll do that again next year.

This is Pam and she made all of the quilt tops that are hanging except for the one by the fan which is my quilt made of selvedges.

Part of our booth.
We ended up giving out information to around 40 people.  We had three new people at a meeting on Tuesday but one had found us on Facebook.  We love new people and new ideas!!

Here is a young lady with her stroller and two chickens.  I need one for my cats!!

Last time I showed you my big Buddy Boy so this is my Sweetie Pie.  Her name fits her perfectly!!
I hope everyone is having a great week.  I'm going Sunday for orination for my exchange student.  She is from Thailand and is 16 years old.  New experience for me but my 16 year old granddaughter wants to be an exchange student so I thought we should host a student also.  It will be easier once I retire in August.  Very exciting!!!  I'll keep updates coming.

I love the tangerine quilt. (I love orange period!) :^D
Looks like you had a fun time at the fair, meeting new people and all.
When you say you need one for your cat, are you talking about the chicken or the stroller? Hahaha! (joke!)
Enjoy! ;^)

I think she both. After all, what could show your love more than giving a member of the family her own pet? Lol
The show looks amazing. I love going to a show that has demonstrations. Everyone has an opportunity to learn.
Great post with lots of variety!
